If you haven't figured it out already, City Folk is a Canadian webcomic. More specifically, we are playing the story out in the province of British Columbia. Our path through the province will become more clear as we go along.
So, every 'finely detailed' backdrop you will encounter here is a real place or based on a real place. This image here is of Denison Lake, only a short drive SE of Lumby.
(For the plot's sake, this is NOT Denison Lake; trust me on this). Foster and Co. come from an area a ways north of Prince George.
