That baby will be bigger than Foster before she turns 2.
I thought I’d play around in the blogger world for the first time! It also helps me separate my webcomic and my other interests (I’m quite OCD with organizing my life, haha).
My new blog is called Party Blogging; kinda like the song, but much less neon. I don’t really have any specific posts in mind yet, so we’ll see what happens. Drop by and leave me some comments!
Three years ago yesterday, I stopped updating my first comic series George the Cat to start City Folk. That first comic starting years and years ago. I drew up a little story with really clichéd characters and simple plots. Now that I’ve come back to finish it, I’ve reworked the plot and brought everything back to a conclusion. #20 is up on the site now (page 1 and page 2).
I hope you find some enjoyment from them!
So I spent all day creating an extra page for my adoring fans. If you look up to the menu, you’ll find it sitting between FRIENDS and CONTACT.
The Extra Stuff page is a really good way for me to organize all of my projects into one, easy-to-find area. From there you can find my Star Wars strips, my George the Cats and my Prayer Cops. If you haven’t had the chance to yet, I would recommend reading through them. When you see how far my art has come in the last ten years, you’ll gain a bigger appreciation for where City Folk is today.
Many of the projects in there are still “in progress” but a few are finished. Let me know if you read any of them. I would love to hear some feedback.
This last year I put together a small series of short videos for our Junior Youth Group. The first character I created was Prayer Cop and he became pretty popular. So in honour of the Prayer Cop series, I’m putting out an official Prayer Cop tshirt. The featured shirt is in a child size, but it should be easily customized.
If you haven’t seen any of the videos, you can watch them on this playlist.
It’s been a while since I’ve really promoted myself. I don’t like to do it too much because this is a hobby site for the most part. I’m not really making any money by putting these strips up.
But if you would feel inclined to increase City Folk’s readership and visibility on the great wide web, you have a chance to do so now
Vote me up on topwebcomics.com. It’s easy to do and you don’t even need a profile on the site to do so. Thanks guys and girls!
Ryan.
